"I love Amy's Day Spa! My experience from the phone to the back of the spa is so refreshing and professional. My girls who have blessed me with their passion for their job have taken layers of stress off my mind, body, and soul. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and she is such a humble woman with amazing class that fills the atmosphere, which is very heavenly to embrace...bless you all, and thank you!"

Fact or Fiction?
People with a well-balanced diet don't need vitamin supplements.
Recent studies suggest that many people fall below the estimated average requirement for certain nutrients, such as vitamins A, C, D, and E, and magnesium and calcium, even with a well-balanced diet, so it's a good idea to include a multivitamin in your daily regimen.

Coconut Water

Coconut water is packed with nutrients that produce numerous health benefits. This tasty alternative to water moisturizes the skin, reduces blood pressure, facilitates digestion, and even assists in weight loss efforts. Drink to your health!

img Q: Summer is here and my family could not be more excited!! We love to spend time outdoors barbequing and swimming all summer long. What is the best way to protect our skin during these fun outdoor activities?

A: During these warm summer months, protecting your skin is a necessity! Our skin is one of the most important organs of the body! Keeping your skin safe from sun damage will prevent issues later such as excessive wrinkles to skin cancer. Make sure to apply sunscreen throughout the day, wear a hat, tote an umbrella, stay hydrated, and most of all...have FUN!
img Express Workouts

Express workouts are the answer for anyone with a busy lifestyle who wants to stay in shape! Instead of spending hours at the gym each day, opt for a vigorous 20-minute workout that can easily fit into your schedule.

It's time to head outdoors and have some fun in the sun! Whether you are hitting the beach or a backyard pool party, shorts, skirts, and bikinis are sure to be everywhere. There is still time to get into bikini shape by making a few easy changes. Check these out!

Conquer those calories!
Add these simple steps to your daily routine to burn more calories.

  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator... always!
  • Stop looking for that perfect parking space. Instead, purposely park farther away so you have more steps in your day.
  • Multi-Task: Watch your favorite TV show or movie while doing crunches, lunges, planks, or jumping jacks.

Make small changes!
Diets come and go, but making a few simple substitutions to your eating habits can really enhance results.

  • Go for nuts instead of croutons for that extra crunch you want in your salad.
  • Opt for non-fat plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. It tastes the same with much less guilt!
  • Swap out rice for quinoa.
  • Try chia seeds instead of breadcrumbs.
  • Skip the whole milk and try almond or soymilk.

Visit the spa!
Experience these treatments for a healthier-looking you.

  • Slimming wraps can help you lose few inches and reduce the appearance of cellulite so you look your best in that bikini!
  • Exfoliating body scrubs are a great way to either prep your skin for a spray tan or scrub off the dry skin after a summer of sun.
  • Mani/Pedi - Of course, a nice, bright summer color on your fingertips or toes is the perfect accessory for your vacation, beach, or pool attire.
