Of course you can come see us at the spa for the best beauty and skin treatments! But in the mean time, here’s a few beauty tips that you can do at home when you are in between appointments with us! Hint: go grab some lemons!

1. Lessen the appearance of age spots
If you have age spots on your skin, try applying pure lemon juice to the area before bed. In the morning rinse with cool water. Continue to do this for 1 – 2 weeks and you will notice that the age spot begins to lighten.
2. Improve brightness and softness
If you have dry knees or elbows, try applying lemon juice to these areas before moisturizing. This will soften the texture of your skin.
3. Say goodbye to blackheads
Blackheads are very annoying, and extremely difficult to get rid of. Try applying lemon juice to the area of your skin where you have blackheads. Repeat this every night, rinsing with cool water in the morning, until the blackheads are gone.
4. Moisturizing mask
Create a mixture of equal parts honey, lemon and olive oil. Apply this to any dry areas on your skin, allowing it to dry completely for about 10 minutes. Rinse the mask with warm water when finished.
5. Create a toner for oily skin
By combining 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 tablespoons vodka, 1 tablespoon distilled water, and 1 teaspoon witch hazel you can create a toner. Apply this mixture with cotton balls and remove with cool water.
6. Exfoliation
Remember, exfoliation should not be done too often, as it can be harmful to the skin.
For lemon exfoliation, cut a lemon in half and dip into a half teaspoon of sugar. Rub this on your face for 2 minutes. This will remove dead skills, and leave your skin looking refreshes and clean.
7. Anti-Wrinkle mask
For this mask, you will need to mix a teaspoon of honey, a few drops of lemon juice, and a drop of sweet almond oil. Apply this to your face and let dry for 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
With the help of these 7 lemon beauty tips, you will be able to enjoy soft, radiant and healthy skin. If you have sensitive skin, it may be best to dilute the lemon juice substantially, or go with a more gentle cleansing method.
